The Carleton University Alumni Association needed an event registration page and back-end database for their annual alumni dinner. Under a tight deadline and with limited staff and technology needed to allow them to create it themselves, the Association sought Affinity Response Inc. (ARI) to provide a solution, consistent with their existing online presence, in a timely manner.
Affinity Response responded quickly to understand the scope of their project and the Association’s desired outcomes. ARI was able to provide the following deliverables in a timely manner:
- A landing page with the same design and formatting as the Association’s website;
- Web-based access for the Association to view, edit and download registrant information;
- Protection and security of all registrant information;
- An automated response for all registrants who completed a web form containing more information about the Association and upcoming events; and
- The ability for members to update their current contact information.
The following results were achieved:
- Highest online registration of any event to date – over 400 members used the website to register;
- Reduced stress and workload for their office personnel;
- Immediate access for the Association to update member information; and
- The Association is now proposing that all future online registration projects be built by ARI.
